HGS2048 is a tabletop 5-channel LIBS spectrometer developed by Oceanhood. The Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) system consists of a multi-channel spectrometer and laser. LIBS is an atomic emission spectroscopy technique that uses a high-power pulsed laser to focus on the sample surface, generating plasma. Electrons transition from lower to higher energy states, emitting characteristic spectra as they cool and return to lower energy states. The high-sensitivity spectrometer captures the spectral data after a specified delay, allowing for qualitative and quantitative material analysis based on peak positions and intensities.
◆ Configured with a multi-channel high-resolution spectrometer with a low numerical aperture (NA < 0.07) for high spectral resolution up to 0.07nm.
◆ Laser energy of 200mJ with a pulse duration of 5ns; synchronized trigger minimum delay of 0.4μs and asynchronous reset external trigger delay of 40ns.
